足環番号 Numbers

1月7日に訪れた沼で観察したオナガガモのうち、5羽に足環がついており、その刻印が完全に読み取れた3個体の記録を山階鳥類研究所に送ったところ、2005年〜2008年の間に千葉県と新潟県で装着された個体と判明しました。

すべて同じに見えるオナガガモにもそれぞれの生き方や時間があることが見えてくるのはとても興味深いことです。これからも足環のついた鳥を見かけたら、番号の読み取りに力を注ぎたいと思います。

いつか、日本以外で装着された鳥に会ってみたいです！

I sent numbers of ringed Pintail for Yamashina Institute of Ornithology a few days ago.
These records gave us the information which were ringed from 2005-2008 in Niigata and Chiba.

I am very interested in the life of each Pintail.

I hope that I will find any ringed bird, released in other country!
