毎年、見聞した鳥を日本産鳥類目録（第8版）に基づいて記録しています。9月30日の種数チェックでは1月からの累計で229種（外来種5種 コブハクチョウ、ガビチョウ、コジュケイ、ホンセイインコ、ドバトを含む）となりました。9月に調査の設定していた日とその予備日の全て雨になってしまい、調査を全くできませんでした。こんなことは初めてです。東京都心では、35日連続の降水で1876年以降の統計史上最長記録を更新だったそうです。

I updated my annual checklist of Japanese birds based on the Check-List of Japanese Birds, 8th Revised Edition. By the end of September, I have reached 229 species (including 5 non-native species). I visited some birding hot spots to watch hawks and migrating birds. Especially visiting the remote island was nice to encounter so many birds.
