ヤブサメとセンダイムシクイ Cryptic Birds

初めて訪問した森で、ヤブサメの声があちこちから聞こえたので、声を頼りに目を凝らして探すと、幸運にも見つけることができました。いつになくじっくりと観察できた機会にも恵まれ、野外で初めて色を確認ができた部位がありました。

Thanks to being able to observe Asian Stubtail and Eastern Crowned Warbler, these Cryptic Birds more closely than usual, I could watch detail some parts of their bodies in the wild that I had known about from field guides. It was a delightful encounter during my first visit to the forest.

普段は見上げる姿勢で見ることが多いセンダイムシクイも、この日は下の茂みで採餌やさえずりをしている場面が多くありました。初めての森での楽しい出会いでした。
