Bean geese have already arrived in Hokkaido. Probably they will come soon to Honshu, the main island of Japan, I suppose.
道東を巡ってきました。ほぼ満月の夜に遠くで鳴いたシマフクロウの声は幻想的でした。帰りに寄った釧路動物園で飼育個体を観察してきました。やはり眼がかっこいいです。

道東巡り Eastern Hokkaido
I went to Eastern Hokkaido from 3rd to 7th in September. In this trip, I could see Hazel Grouses, Red-crested Cranes, Crested Kingfisher, White-tailed Sea Eagles, and so on. I also enjoyed a pair voice of Blakiston's Fish Owl. These were my target on this trip.
