オオヒシクイ Bean Goose

I could meet been geese in Abashiri, Hokkaido on 6th September. I suppouse that it is hard to use their own wings long distance for migration from breeding site to the place for wintering. I hope that they can arrive there without any problem.

9月6日、道東で早朝に宿を出て広い湿地を目指したところ、遠くの干潟で飛来して間もないであろうオオヒシクイを観察できました。中継地でのガンの観察は久しぶりでした。
