12月01日、智光山公園上空をチゴハヤブサが飛翔。こんな時期にも、まだウロウロしている個体がいるとは驚きました。写真はないのですが、こんな出会いもあるのが、フィールド散歩の楽しさです。
Migrating hobby was flying near my house, Chiko-zan Koen Park. It was very rare!
Chiko-zan koen Park in Saitama is good place to enjoy birding near Tokyo.
Comfortable foot path in coppice and along some ponds in the park. The best season is winter, great tit, goldcrest, pale thrush, dusky thrush, brown-headed thrush, bull-headed shrike, brown-eared bulbul among the trees, also wigeon, mallard, spot-billed duck, teal, heron, common kingfisher and little grebe in the pond. It will be easy to find White's Thrush on the ground after snowing. Migrating birds will also visit, like flycatchers and warblers, for example.
It takes about 1 hour from Seibu-Shinjuku Station to Sayamashi Station by express, and transfer to Seibu-Bus for Chikozan Koen.

noriさん、コメントありがとうございます。予期せぬ出会いでしたので、目を疑いました。細長い翼と足部分の赤を確認できたので、成鳥であることもわかり、よかったです。
削除季節と場所にとらわれず、頭をやわらかくしておくことが大事だと、つくづく感じました！
