Dawn Chorus Recording Report No.02

I checked my Dawn Chorus Recording in April.  The data of the recording, the songs of Asian Stubtail and the calling of the pair of owls were recorded at a short distance from the recorder before sunrise. In order to prevent the spread of the new coronavirus, I visit the forest to put  the recorder and Trail cam in an unattended time.

自宅での作業をしながら、4月の録音データを順次確認していますが、まだ暗い時間にヤブサメのさえずり、夜明けの頃にフクロウのつがいの鳴き交わしの声が入っていました。4/26の記録にはアオバトも入っていました。森で何気なく聞いていた鳥の声をはっきり録音しようとすると意外と難しいもので、これを機会に森の見つめ方、歩き方が加わりそうです。

次回の録音チェックも楽しみですが、まずは3密を避け、外出回数を減らすことが重要です。新型コロナの感染拡大を抑えるために、私ができることはしていきたいと思います。
