佐渡 Easier than Before

佐渡にはトキを観察のために行きました。放鳥個体数そのものも増えましたし、野生下での繁殖個体も加わったので、以前に比べてずいぶん見つけるのが簡単になりました。

春以降の繁殖期は、つがいごとでの行動になることや保護色で見つけにくくなるのですが、秋は白っぽくなるうえに群れになるので発見しやすいです。

佐渡へトキを見に行くならば、秋がおすすめです。

Japanese Crested Ibis

If you want to see the Japanese Crested Ibis in Sado Isle, I recommend you to visit in Autumn because they make a flock and pale white with brilliant pink  (especially named TOKI IRO, TOKI is the ibis, IRO means colour) helps to find easier than other season in wild.

In breeding season, each pair of the ibis makes nest with keeping distance to next.

We have one more reason easier to find the ibis than before, the ibis reintroducing project is very successful.
