Birding in English 英会話探鳥会

I joined a birdwatching event on 24th March at Kasai-rinkai Park in Tokyo. Most of the participants were Japanese and there were few from overseas, but they seemed to be enjoying bird watching different from usual. I hope that this opportunity will bring more birdwatchers familiar with English.

3/24に日本野鳥の会東京の主催で、英会話探鳥会が開催されました。私は中学生の時に出会った英国人バードウォッチャーに会ってから鳥の英名を覚え始めたのですが、今回の参加者の中にもそのような感覚の方もいらっしゃいました。

人材の確保が難しい地域もあるかと思いますが、全国各地に広まって欲しい企画です。
