ハシブトガラスは猛禽類？ Jungle crow behaved like a birds of prey.

19日のフィールドスケッチ会での出来事。

ハシブトガラスが、生きているコガモの雌を襲って食べる光景を観察しました。

首をねじるようにくわえる行動は、まるで猛禽類のようでした。

こんなこと、あるんですね。

初めて観察しました。

I  watched a jungle crow hunting for a female teal like a birds of prey on 19th April 2014, in Tokyo-bay Bird Park. The crow twisted living teal's neck for ready to its dinner. 

It was first time for me to look at the moment like this behavior of crow.
