Kanagawa Waterfowl Count 2022 ガンカモ調査

1/16、日本野鳥の会神奈川支部が毎冬行なっているガンカモ調査で、私の担当場所での調査に行ってきました。その場所は「まとまった数がいる場所があったら調査地としておしらせください」という支部からの要請を受けて、私が中学生の頃に報告した1ヶ所を継続調査しています（2ヶ所報告したうち、1ヶ所は飛来が途絶えて数年前に調査地外になりました）。

I went to annual waterfowl survey in Kanagawa on 16th January, conducted by the Kanagawa branch of the Japan Wild Bird Society. 

種数が少ない上に特別なカモがいるわけではないですが、コガモが増えたり、オナガガモの飛来が途絶えたり、ハシビロガモが減少するなど変動を捉えているのは、やはり継続して調査してきたからこそだと感じています。野鳥を撮影するだけではデータにはならないことを痛感しているので、具体的な数字で鳥の動向を把握する重要性を教わっています。

My place has small number and doesn't have any special ducks, but there are some interesting changes, such as the increasing teals and the decrease in northern shovelers for example, can be proved by continuous research. Since it is not possible to obtain data just by taking photo wild birds, we are taught the importance of grasping the movement of birds with specific numbers.
