雪国へ Birding in Snow Country

2月に雪国を訪ねてきました。太陽が出ているときは雪の反射が、飛翔する鳥の下面部に当たってしっかりと細部がわかることが多かったです。新幹線で通過した駅前の電線にレンジャクが、ずらっと並んでいたのには驚きました。後に群れが観察できましたが、写真に撮れなかったせいか、より鮮明に記憶に残りました。

I visited snow country on 14th and 17-18th Feb with birding friends of mine. We enjoyed a White tailed Eagle, Eastern Buzzards, Waxwings, Swans and Geese.
