雨や曇りが続いた後の快晴の日、多くのタカが渡ることを期待して出かけたところ、サシバとノスリを合わせて10羽の渡りを確認しました。天候や風向きから考えて、もう少し多くのタカが渡ることを予測していましたが、実際は少ない結果になりました。一番近いタカ渡り観察ポイントでの確認数公式発表もこの日は一桁でしたので、動きが少ない日だったようです。

Unfortunately, the raptors clearly hadn’t read the script. I counted migrating only 7 Grey-faced Buzzards and 3 Eastern Buzzards. It seems the migration routes in my patch differ between spring and autumn. Perhaps they know something I don't.
