I visited a site of spring migratory birds in Kyusyu with a birding friend of mine. There were fewer migratory birds than expected from 25-29 April, perhaps because of the fine weather prior to our visit. Despite this being the first time for us the place, we had encounters some unexpected birds surprisingly, such as Japanese Wood Pigeon and Yellow-browed Warbler!
I am very grateful to my birding friend, for willingly accompanying on the bird trip such a place no information on what we could see there. If not for him, Japanese Wood Pigeon and Yellow-browed Warbler would never have been discovered. I would like to thank him from the bottom of my heart.
サンショウクイが飛び回っていたり、イカルの群れが渡っていったりして、個人的には観察がとても楽しかったです。環境も良かったので、来年以降もお財布と時間に余裕があれば是非とも挑戦したい場所となりました。
