Long-tailed Rosefinch

From  9th to11th December, I visited 2 Lagoons Shinjiko and Naka-umi  in the San'in Region, where is the southwest of Japan. It takes about 1.5 hours to Yonago or Izumo airport from Tokyo Haneda. These were some hot-spots of winter birds in this area to enjoy ducks, geese, swans, birds of prey and many kind of small birds like a  Long-tailed Rosefinch, Goldcrest for example. I met 82 species in this trip. Wow!

Please visit Yonago Waterbirds Sanctuary to check the birds in the San'in Region. The guide in the watching centre knows well about bird information.
