BTXで個体識別！ Thanks Swarovski BTX

飛来当初は2021-22年冬に出現した個体と2022-23冬に出現した個体は同一だという話もあったようなのですが、観察中にも感じたように、帰宅後に画像を比較したところ、嘴の根元の白い部分に大きな差があり、私は別個体という結論に至りました。両個体を両眼望遠鏡のSwarovski BTXで観察したのですが、この違いを “現場の観察” で確認できたのは、なんだかとても嬉しかったです！

Some bird cameramen told that the Rough-legged Buzzard, that appeared in the winter of 2021-22 and 2022-23 came to the Kanto region, is same bird. 

But when I compared by “watching by Swarovski BTX” there were some differences,  in the white area at the base of the bill, for example.

I have now the conclusion that they were different individuals.

2冬連続で広い目で見て「ほぼ同所」に飛来したからといって同一個体とは限らないという良い勉強になりました。
