戸隠 Eyebrowed Thrush

11月上旬、夜中に高速道路を使って目的地へ向かっている途中で大きな気象変化のポイントがあり、過去に見たオオミズナギドリの飛翔に再会できそうな気がして、目的地へ直行する予定を急遽変更して戸隠の鏡池に立ち寄りました。

気象条件は以前に見た状況と非常によく似ていたのですが、今回も巡り合わせはありませんでした。簡単には会えないものです。

I went to Togakushi in Nagano in late autumn in the hope of encountering Streaked Shearwaters migrating through the inland areas. The weather conditions were remarkably similar to those I had previously observed, yet I did not see any Streaked Shearwater this time. I will try next autumn again!

来秋に再チャレンジです。

戸隠の山々が雪化粧。前日に降ったようで、とても綺麗でした。

However, I was happy to see the first snowfall and many Eyebrowed Thrushes！

地面に落ちた木の実をついばむマミチャジナイの群れを見られました。

目的地までに休憩した複数の緑地でも、マミチャジナイやマヒワ、アトリ、ツグミの群れ、そして薄暗い森ではトラツグミを見つけることができました。平地林でここ数年は秋の鳥が少なかったので本当に嬉しいです。
