Welcome back! オドリガモ飛来確認
Pintail x Eurasian Wigeon Hybrid Duck （also masculinization ?）has come back to my patch. Welcome Back!
2015年11月4日から飛来を確認しているオドリガモ（オナガガモxヒドリガモの雄化個体）が、今冬も飛来しました。お帰りなさい！

9/18には現地で確認できなかったので、その後のどこかの日に飛来したのでしょう。私が野生の非標識個体をこんなに長く追えるのは、私が見失っていた時期にも確認してくださっていたS.Aさんのおかげです。無事に冬を越して、北国へ戻っていかれることを願っています。

ヤブサメの声 Hearing Loss
この夏、複数のヤブサメの声をCさんと聞きましたが、その聞こえている範囲に違いがあることが判明しました。この夏、この事実を知ることができたのは、私にとって大変有意義なことでした。Cさんのご指摘を心から感謝いたします。
The inability to hear the song of Asian Stubtail is one of the indicators of hearing loss among older Japanese birdwatchers as high frequency band sound.

In the summer of 2024, I still hear the Asian Stubtail voice. However I have to realize reality, that the range of my hearing is smaller. I am grateful to my birding friend for pointing this out, as it is difficult to know if I can't hear it unless birding with someone who can hear it at the same time.
